Too small? They look about right to me. According to the rules islands shouldn’t be larger than 8″ x 4″ from memory.

They look like atolls to me, but maybe that’s because of the white polyfilla

Hello. the picture of the port somewhere in England with LST-314 in the background is taken at Portland in Dorset.this was the port where most of the equipment for D.DAY sailed from where as the pictures above and below this picture are of the neighbouring town of Weymouth where the majority of the troops sailed from ,mainly the 1st infantry and 2nd Ranger battalion.

Other people are already making 15mm plastic miniatures http://theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=130 . Some of the sculpts look a bit flat in their 20mm miniatures but they don’t look so bad at 15mm.

An even more cost effective thing is to use the water from cooking pasta, rather than making your own “boiling salty water”.

However the faster and quicker think is just to use boiling water. That way you don’t end up with salt building up in your soil.
