Tidied up the bases a wee bit and glued the figures on.  Gonna have to plug the holes and do some more tidying up before undercoating.  It might not be much, but each little step is still a step towards completion!!

I really do need to start using a proper camera.

November 6th was the last post on here, and since then I’ve not been doing much, well anything really, to do with miniature war-gaming.  I think it coincides with the purchase of a Kinect unit for my XBox and going away for Christmas.  Modeling apathy on my part probably didn’t help either.

But today I did a little bit of work towards my Malifaux gang, even if it was just the beginning of the bases for the two nurses.  The photo, taken with my cell phone is rather crappy, but then the work thus far looks just as crappy ;-)

Hopefully I’ll be able to stay motivated.  I even plan to finish off my Airborne Army and my two tank armies for Flames of War.

I’ve finally finished some figures!! These Copplestone Castings Sewer Scavengers are part of the Future Wars range, and they were a birthday present from my wife (and children) in February this year. So that’s only 7-8 months from beginning to end! Hopefully my Malifaux crew won’t take that long to finish.

Her indoors has a craft market this morning, so after dropping her off in Howick, I raced home, set the kids up on the XBox (good parenting skills) grabbed my iPod and my Jansen headphones (so I can’t hear the kids arguing) and set up my painting station. The photo only really gives an overview of my hastily setup painting station and not of what I’m painting. Close up shots of my progress will come tomorrow. Essentially I’m adding a bit more paint to some models that have been neglected for a while, and starting on my mysterious lady in a red dress (and handgun) witch will be used as part of my crew for the Pulp scenario I’m supposed to be writing.
